Jungle, I like Jungle! By Justina on September 8, 2000
It book is a down-to-earth book. Through experiences Gary Richmond has gone through, he manages to relate it to the Christian Life. God has everything planned out for us, and He shows some of it through what we observe in nature. For example, he uses the birth of a giraffe to illustrate the trials we face in life. It is a good book for evangelising to animal lovers. It's not a book which starts condemning sinners, but rather, showing the goodness of God in a sutle way, through animals. Good book for both Christian and non-Christian.
This is more about religion than about animals. By Animal Lover on October 29, 2013
I was offended by the religious contents of this book. I do not share the author's religious beliefs, and he looked for any excuse to launch into his religious teachings. However, I did enjoy many of the tales regarding specific animals in the L.A. Zoo. This is NOT a book for the general public, but for members of his congregation.
